Swallowtail Butterfly

A lazy Swallowtail Butterfly. He just sat there on the dandelion as I slowly got closer and closer. A snake I saw a few moments before was much more shy. Think I would rather snap a picture of a butterfly anyway ;)

    I know they’re beautiful and you’ll think I’m silly, but I’m scared of butterflies. Tis true. I’m scared of insects, particularly when they fly. I could tell it was a lovely capture though:-)
