Just Ducky
For the southern end of the Detroit River as it empties into Lake Erie this is calm water. Especially considering this was taken while boats were cruising about on the water too. This duck is simply enjoying the weekend weather and water.

Last Saturday was Demolition Day here.
We’ve been a bit busy getting ready to tear down some old dilapidated buildings. Now all I did on Saturday was take pictures and document the effort. This took a bit of pre-demolition work (there’s my busy). A few of the nicer photo’s where posted earlier (one is here and here ) of some things that were in this structure.
There is also the bad view.

It’s amazing what people leave behind when they move out. There was junk from the very first owners and mostly likely every one after them too.
The junk is gone now. Except for the racing slicks. I’m not quite sure how to dispose of them yet.

Ah! Nicely done. I was going to post ducks today, but decided they weren’t good enough. Your solitary guy tells me I was right.

Slideshow was fun:-) I wish I lived near a pond or lake where I could watch ducks. Duck hunting is a huge sport in Arkansas, one that I find appalling. They’re such beautiful creatures. I’m glad you only shot it with a camera:-) Wonderful capture.
