An Evening at the Marsh

Family of Swans

It seems like it’s been way too long since I’ve been able to just walk around the marsh with my camera. Felt good to get out there. I came across this adorable scene. A family of Mute Swans. Caught them atin the middle of their evening feed. The weather was great. Hardly a breeze stirred so the water was rather still. I’m waiting as they made their way closer and closer. One of the resident Eagles passed high overhead. Just the place I needed to be tonight :)

Thanks so much for looking in!

Nicely composed and a great perspective - I’ve never come across a pair like this accompanied by little ones. Nice exposure too as white is sometimes difficult in day light.

Those swans look great, we don’t have them around here, too bad.
